This morning I took my mother to the walk-in x-ray facility at Acre Mills. It wasn't initially clear that we had to check in (she had a GP referral slip, but no specific appointment), but the staff were extremely helpful when I asked. Our wait time was very short (less than 5 minutes). My mother has Alzheimers, and the professional and friendly radiologist couldn't have been kinder, more helpful, or more patient as they tried to get her to stand in the right place, and then wait (without moving!) for the x-ray to be taken.
