Having been treated by Peterborough district hopspital for many years I was referred to St Marks for their opinion on my future care. This hospital was outstanding for operating on strictures which had been caused by my
Crohn's disease over a period of time.PCH did not want to operate on the strictures just kept trying different things which did not work on the basis I would end up with small bowel syndrome.
Thank you To my consultant who pushed forward the operation and to the excellent surgeon who performed it. I have now after 3 years of living on a fortisip diet got my life back again.I know with this disease it may be short lived but for now I am enjoying life once again. Thank you to everyone involved in my care on the Frank Salmon ward in April 2016. I spent 10 days on the ward and was extremely well looked after all of the time
Kindest Regards. Karen Hodgson
