My brother was referred here for yet another stay due to taking an overdose. His a diabetic but is having to argue with staff just to be given his blood machine. A blood machine to check his sugar levels which could become a life or death situation. There is no care given. The staff are disgustinly rude to not only the patience but to visitors. They pick and chose times when they want the patience to eat, they sit in a little office and don't even have the decency to interact with the patience. They are unwell people and these people sit all day in an office. How is this doing their job? I witnessed them ignoring an old man aged 66 saying that he was scared, he was getting kicked and punched by other patience but they couldn't careless, one member of staff sat and watched the television. Unfortunately due to my brothers mental state he will be there a while longer but I'm frightened for him even having to surround himself with people who are supposed to be carer's but I could not see any care what so ever. Avoid at all costs!
