My mother recently spent three months on Horizon Unit for palliative care. I cannot fault in any way the care she received from the nursing staff during this time. My mother was treated with great consideration to her comfort, dignity and well-being throughout her stay and the nurses and doctors went the extra mile to extend that level of care throughout each stage and particularly during her final days. In addition they ensured that our family was included in all decisions regarding my mothers care and these were always explained with sensitivity and compassion. The nursing staff and the doctor were also incredibly kind and caring to my father and were a crucial support to us during that time.
