I was an inpatient on the 22nd June 2016 for a knee replacement. The standard of care I received was fantastic. I could not fault anything apart from the room. The room was shabby, the walls needed painting, the window sill had no paint on it, the blinds and the curtains were showing signs of wear and tear. My husband commented that he should of brought in his paint brush. I worked at the Nuffiield on Outwood Lane Horsforth for 14 years until the new hospital opened, the standard of the rooms were far superior there. I am sure the curtains were the same that were chosen when the new hospital was built!!! I was a BUPA private patient and expected a much superior room than the one I was allocated.
