3 years ago I broke a tooth on my front bridge. A simple repair would be answer, however NHS dental in Edinburgh refused and insisted after months waiting with broken front teeth they would only give a partial denture. Appeal for this was refused and after over a year and many letters to get advice and then complain to the head of a NHS dept against one particular person, I was amazed to have my complaint ridiculed by the man who I complained of who actually answered my complaint of his lack of help. I have since had to use a new dentist and had treatment and had to pay for the work I could have had free years before, and my new dentist has said not one reply from this NHS person to allow me other free treatment allowable has been answered from the dept in Edinburgh in the last 10 months. So how can anyone complain of bad treatment in NHS if the person whom you are complaining of is allowed to deal with complaint and therefore stop or continue to hold up any treaatment, is that not farcicle? ? ? ?
