After my GP failed to care for me and not getting the answers I needed at my local hopsital (Blackpool) I decided to drive to Preston hospital a&e.
Absolutely fantastic, within 5 minutes I was seen by the triage nurse and given painkillers. By 15 minutes I was in a bed. I then waited some time to see a doctor but was comfortable and relaxed.
It was great to see a doctor who understood my condition of HSP and was able to finally give me some medication to help my rash. The doctor has also been kind enough to write to my GP, as I have had a nightmare.
Before this visit I had genuinely lost the will to live, I felt abandoned by my GP who had ignored me. Going to Preston hospital last night I finally feel like I have seen a light at the end of the tunnel.
For the sake of a small drive I would highly recommend this hopsital. The staff are lovely and everything is very well organised.
I can't thank the staff enough for helping me, if only they knew what a difference they have made to my life.
Thank you
"Fantastic hospital and staff"
