I was taken to A&E end of November last year following a very severe asthma attack. I was moved to Respiratory and stayed for a week.
My hospital stay was frightening for me as not only is it terrifying not being able to breath, I also suffer from white coat syndrome. I can honestly say that I am not as nervous about hospitals after my visit thanks to the amazingly supportive and compassionate staff that looked after me. Despite being busy, they went above and beyond to put me at ease and answer any questions I had. There were times I panicked and got very upset but the wonderful staff comforted me and made sure I was ok before carrying on with their duties. The ward was very clean, meals were always on time and the staff were always smiling. Thank you again, you are all amazing.
