My baby boy was born in RFH on 1st February 2016. I arrived at triage at abt 10am after my waters broke 3 weeks before the due date), no contractions at that time. I was examined and the scan showed that the baby was actually breech-undiagnosed- so I was recommended to have C-section that afternoon. However,as I was getting ready for the theatre the labour started progressing really fast so midwife and the doctor suggested to try natural vaginal delivery instead. It is my first baby and it was day full of surprises so i was naturally bit worried but midwives and doctors were so supportive they really put me at ease and made me feel confident that everything would be all right...and it was:) My beautiful son was born after 14.00 (my husband managed to arrive just about one hour earlier, it went all rather fast and smooth, did not even need epidural). All the staff I came across during labour and afterwards were simply amazing, professional yet friendly, they always took time to introduce themselves and explain next procedure . also antenatal and postnatal care was great. obviously I do not remember all the names, just it was lovely midwife who delivered the baby and I was looked after by Yellow team and Postnatal ward 5 south...So let me say thank you and well done RFH team:)
"Thank you RFH staff for great care !"
