After an accident at work I suffered two metacarpal fractures which required surgery. I have been treated by the following departments: A&E, X-ray, fracture clinic plaster room, plastic surgery outpatient, ward 39 and physiotherapy. I was made to feel comfortable by every member of staff involved in my treatment. Waiting times have been minimal during every visit to date. Communication appears to be very good between departments as every time I was transferred from one to another, either the staff were expecting me or the documents I was given to take had all of the information required. Having very little previous experience of hospitals and having read a lot of negative press, the treatment I have received has definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you.
