I had ankle surgery here in march,I was extremely nervous about having it done but all the team were great and put my mind at ease during the admissions stage.op went well and found the nurse who looked after me in recovery extremely caring and helpful regardless of how busy they were due to being short staffed, the nurse was fab. once moved onto ward1 I was greeted by the staff who helped settle me,I was very tired and desperate for a cuppa and had 1 brought to me almost straight away.I was lucky enough to be discharged the next day but can't fault my stay in the ROH for anything at all,and if I need surgery again I know I would be well looked after and wouldn't be as worried .
Many thanks to all who were involved in my admission, surgery and stay
