I went to A and E by ambulance on 7th April 2016 which I understand was a very busy day for them. The paramedics and ambulance drivers were excellent, very careing and concerned they did not leave me as there were too many patients in the corridor, I understand the nurse can only look after three patients and no other nurses were available, this ment they were unavailable to attend other emergencies. I was five hours on a trolley in the corridor before being seen by a doctor but when I was the care given was very good and thorough, I had to be admitted after a bed was found that took 13 hours but I surpose I was lucky it was on a ward. The staff are extremely overworked and did their best in a very difficult situation, they can not do the impossible there are not enough staff or facicilities in Hereford County Hospital. I would like to thank them for what they were able to do, eventually
"Extremley busy A and E"
