I waited 7 months to see a physio as 2-3 referrals went missing. I was referred after a recommendation by a neurosurgeon to help with ongoing walking difficulties after spinal cord compression and concussion. I had 3 sessions, only 1 giving any advice about looking up when walking. The others just to pace myself and the other to discharge me. Apparently the fact that I walk like a drunk, can only walk at a snails pace, cannot stand for long and experience freezes in my walking are minor symptoms that I wouldn't have complained about 20 years ago and when I asked the physio said they couldn't help with my walking (that was what I was referred for) as too many systems involved. ..basically told to put up with it and don't worry . Very disappointed..If they cannot provide treatment then they shouldn't have taken in the work and left it to the neurophysiology. ..
