On Wed. 23rd I was sent directly to A&E by my GP, in Sherborne. I was having pressure sensations in my chest. Had an EGT at my medics, then off I went. I was taken into the A&E unit , processed and then began my assessment.
They were very busy, but no signs of panic, everything was dealt with smoothly!!!!!!!! After various procedures, and after 4 hours, I was transferred to the very new EAU.
So smart, so clean, so spacious.
Again
I had various checks , nurses were kind and efficient. The Doctors/Consultants were thorough and took their time with any questions I had. I was there overnight - never an easy environment to sleep in, and was discharged the following afternoon.
Unlike previous admissions, not to A&E, my medication came through in good time, discharge details signed off, future treatment explained and away I came.
The comments in the previous review mentions being able to overhear patient/doctor discussions...I did not find this, but my hearing is not perfect!. The 4 beds are well spaced, and curtains can be pulled around.
