"The NHS at its best"

I was admitted to Hilton Main Ward on 7 March for a partial knee replacement and from admission to discharge I received what I can only describe as exceptional treatment.

All the staff were unfailingly kind, considerate yet completely professional in their approach throughout my stay and the whole experience was rendered far less traumatic than I had feared. I couldn't fault the attention in any way and when I complimented one of the ancillary staff on their performance, their reply summed up what I felt was the attitude of everyone there. They said "We try" and in my case at least, this member of staff, and all those with whom I came into contact, certainly succeeded. Keep up the good work.
