So to ad insult to injury Alzheimer's has shrunk mums brain to such a degree that her wiring is now giving her a special form of Epilepsy .....cue one terrified exhausted Mum frightened with no understanding of where she was or why (because she would need reminding every other second and no amount of nurses can help with that) until we turned up and two exhausted but very grateful daughters... Grateful to the doctors and nurses at Stepping Hill Stockport who didn't break strike because emergency staff are allowed to work thank Christ !!! We have had brilliant care and real empathy from the overworked stressed but entirely lovely professionals at every point in our horrid journey today... I am so indebted to these stars that hold the NHS together... my blown away moment was the time the lovely nurse took to record all mums issues and to
a most brilliant consultant with the best bed side manner we have ever seen ... we have done a lot of hospital visits with mum and Dad (Parkinson's) over the years and so far this is amazingly good.
"Wonderful professional care from start to finish"
