I had my second baby at James Cook on New Years Day and once again the service and care was fantastic. The staff were friendly, supportive and helpful. They made me as comfortable as possible and couldn't do enough for us - drinks/ food/ checking we were ok/ commenting how cute the baby was etc. The midwife was fab - despite me shouting at them!!! Thank you very much for all the help! Room was great, husband could stay. They allowed my parents to visit as soon as baby was born. They didn't rush us, helped me get a bath and were really helpful in terms of establishing breastfeeding.
"Fantastic support and care from the maternity team"
