My daughter went into labour Friday 25th September and had a normal delivery early hours of 26th . Midwife led unit was short staffed and they had called in a community midwife to cover . We met one midwife who wasn't very attentive but pleasant enough and then another midwife arrived and took total control . They were fantastic, just so calm and so reassuring which is exactly what my daughter needed . In spite of the midwife being very tired they were completely attentive , very polite , extremely professional and in complete control . I would really like them to be properly thanked by their management as they deserve positive recognition . This midwife is an excellent midwife
