I went to the dental hospital yesterday for the 7th time..again the appointment was over 90 mins late, exhausting when you have to start travelling at 4 am.
Again there was a group of specialists with probably more letters after their names than I have in mine. ie highly qualified professionals unlike myself who is not medically trained.
Some of the specialists have seen me on other occasions.
They are all unaware....that I AM aware I have a Lingual Nerve Injury many years old now.
They choose to refer to it as facial pain not just plain old nerve damage to avoid embarressment to the dental profession and other possible consequences.
Yesterday again I was never specific with what I know in event more help is now available, new meds etc.
Well people be warned... be very careful before having major dental procedures ie root canal, implants I had both because when things go wrong which they can in the very best of hands it can result in irreversible life changing consequences and nowhere to turn because no one wants to be" too" specific.
I doubt this will be printed !!!
"beware of dental procedures"
