Throughout our pregnancy, we were given confusing advice and sometimes told completely different things by nurses, doctors and midwives.
We were booked in and told to prepare for an induction on an agreed date. The date arrived, they weren't ready for us. After 8 hours, they were ready. We arrived, they weren't ready. We were eventually given a bed, then left for 5 hours before being told that the induction would start the following day.
They started the process, then stopped the process because they had no space in the birthing unit if my partner actually went in to labour.
5 days later, after a lot of confusion and fear, we were finally in a position to go to the birthing unit.
At times I was made to feel unwelcome by the midwife and was completely ignored and ordered around.
I did not enjoy any part of this life changing moment thanks to the complete ineptitude of your staff and department.
"Confusing and disorganised."
