"EPAU were fantastic, a credit to the NHS Service"

With an unexpected need to come into hospital, the service I received on G1 assessment and surgical ward was top class this week. All staff had the caring bedside manner you come to expect but rarely receive from overworked and no doubt underpaid NHS staff.

However they never faltered and communication was key with everyone I came into contact with. Dignity was shown and genuine support for my circumstances.

The staff who took me to theatre were a pleasure, the restaurant is lovely, the member of staff who took my bloods was lovely. Everyone I came into contact with, even in other departments wanted to help and that was obvious.

Thank you York Hospital for making a difficult time a more comfortable time.
