My daughter tried to give birth to her first baby at St Peters nearly two years ago. She was sent home during her labour not once but twice, in severe pain. I can understand getting sent home once if you are not dilated very much. But twice is beyond a joke and extremely dangerous. Within ten minutes of getting home she needed to push so there was a panic to
Get back to the hospital. The baby was ready to be born and needed an assisted delivery. She also had the cord wrapped around her neck. Luckily she was alright but it was a very frightening experience for my daughter in law. Midwives are meant to help a woman through labour not send her away. I was really disgusted by her treatment.
