After breaking my wrist on Monday morning, I can only express my gratitude for the prompt, effective and courteous way I was treated.
I was seen by triage in about 20 mins from arrival, and thereafter was smoothly in the system for xray, plaster room etc.
The next day after a follow up appointment I was told that I would need surgery, and advised to not eat as it was possible that it would be the next day.
I was called promptly at 8.30 am, and the surgery was completed by lunchtime, and I was discharged at 5.30 pm.
The staff, without exception, were polite, informative and sympathetic.
I realise that I was lucky to be in at a not particularly busy time, but it proves that the NHS can deliver the best - when it can.
Thank you.
