I was recently an inpatient on Nuffield 1 for a lumbar decompression under the doctor and their team. The treatment and care I received was second to none. I'm not quite doing the 'Tango' yet, but getting there from being barely able to walk before my op. All my pre-op pains in back and legs have disappeared. I really, really can not think these amazingly clever (and brave, for doing what they do) surgeons enough for what they've done for me. I was on the Nuffield ward and I can not fault the care and attention I received - an extra special word for the wonderful catering assistants who served up every lovely meal with smiles and a friendly word (not to mention the enormous pot of tea they gave me every morning - marvellous!); and the HCAs who were unbelievably attentive, caring, and friendly. The nursing care was amazing and everyone made me feel special, even when I was grumpy, a bit miserable and 'needy' - don't know how they put up with me??!! I mustn't forget the doctor's secretary, and the admissions staff who sorted my admission out and were so patient and lovely to me when I mithered them.
I really, really can not thank everyone involved in my admission enough and now, after months of misery, I can at last begin to get my life back on track. My utmost thanks and respect to everyone involved in my superb care.
"Fabulous! (to use a 'Strictly' Judge's word...)"
