My grandfather had an operation to help stop blood clots while the surgeons were operating they found out the 3 main arteries were blocked. So he got moved to a ward where the nurses respected him and took his needs into consideration. They gave him dialysis like normal, and starved him for 24 hours ready for the operation the next day 2 hours before the operation was going to begin, a doctor came and said we would like to postpone the triple heart bypass to make sure your in a stable state after the operation for the blood clots.
2 weeks later he's being moved to a pre-operation ward where they have treated him like a 5 year old. They took all his medications off him and decided they would give him. Not only that they have decided they will change the times. After he has being on dialysis for 4 hours they would like him to stay up too 10 o'clock to give him his medication, when normally he has it before he goes too bed at 8 o'clock. They are changing his routine which his bodies not use to and is making him ill. This isn't how a 72 year old man should be treated with such disrespect.
"Disrespect!"
