If you search for "Walk In Centre" on the NHS website you can find a link to this clinic.
The website also says "There are no staff avaliable outside of the opening hours 8-4 pm-therefore it may be necessary to stop booking patients in earlier than the time stated if there is a high volume of patients" which seems reasonable - until you go there at 1:45pm to find a "closed" sign and four people sat in the waiting room.
Apparently my need to have wound packing replaced and a dressing changed is not something they do (although they've been doing it every two days for the last three weeks) and I should visit my GP. This is a nice idea but totally impractical since it's more-or-less impossible to get an appointment at my GP's surgery.
Not really sure what to do now.
"They seem to have decided they don't want to..."
