I came in for my operation on the 9 of sept and I was asked to be there at 7.30 .
I was to have a hip revision .scared that wouldn't come close to how I felt. But there was no need no need at all . The nurseing staff consultants and even the person helping me to my bed in day care ,we'll just excellent . My consultant came to see me ,they told me all would be well and I would be going down straight away . Yep thye were right . The care I got in the ward after was better than any private hospital I have seen. I spent four days in Hillingdon before being transferred to mount Vernon for the rest of my care. At this point I would say my pain had almost gone. Trinity ward was a shock you see I have never been nursest I have been in hospital a few times the last time was for a hip replacement I came home on a streture. The nurses at my local need to go to Hillingdon and mount veron for training.
From the time I went to my bed,all the staff that wear there came and said hello .The house keeper made sure I had my dinner. A doctor came to see me to ask if they could do any thing for my pain ,but I wasn't in any. I was nurse back to full health by the most dedicated health professionals .
This health care trust in my opinion far far excites any hospital I have been in . As I told my consultant went I walked out of trinity ,if I need another op I want be scared I will come back hear . Follow up in a few days and a phone call from sister just to see how I am doing . Now that's what I call service . No.... Care. As I said thank you just well it's not enough.
"A job well done"
