I have had some bad experiences at the hospital in the past and wasn't happy when I had to be transferred there. How wrong could I have been. The nurses were amazing and the doctors who saw me explained everything even though I asked some odd questions, I had had a stroke and didn't believe that's what the problem was at first.
Each nurse that was assigned to me was kind, caring and a credit to nursing. The sister in charge of the ward, was wonderful, not once did they not help me or make me feel a nuisance. The nursing team on the stroke unit are a credit to nursing and I was happy to stay for as long as I had to.
The cleaner on the ward was so thorough I am sure the floor and every smooth surface was turned into a mirror after they had been there it was so clean it shone!
