I awoke early hours of the morning and went to the bathroom, on my return I moved my duvet and caught my right hand ring finger under my body and broke the finger, I believe this is called Mutton finger.
I received excellent treatment from the A & E department around 5. 30am and arrived with a home made splint, which made everyone laugh in the accident department.
I was soon sorted out by a young doctor and referred to Dr. Bhat a week later, where afterwards was handed over to the hand therapists Jo and Mary.
They gave me very caring and personal treatment over many weeks and although I am still working on my finger getting back to normal the staff in the hospital are excellent in their approach to helping people like me.
I would recommend the East Surrey to everyone.
Thank you for an excellent caring service.
