I gave birth in the Midwife Led unit at Lister Hospital on 3rd August 2015. I would like to say how wonderful the midwife team were in looking after me and my new-born. In particular our midwife and the student midwife assisting were absolutely fantastic .I was lucky to have a water birth and the midwife made sure we were comfortable and re-assured through the whole experience. They made my mum and husband feel informed and the aftercare I received from them both once Essie had arrived was wonderful. I would also like to say thank you to the whole Midwife team that were on duty, everyone we came across were friendly and helpful. The facility itself is amazing, we are so lucky to have such a state of the art department to have our babies in. It was clean, organised and safe. I would like this review to be shared with the midwife led team, so they are aware how appreciated they are and the hard work they do is really fantastic. Thanks again. I look forward to my next visit if we have any more children ;-) lol..
