I have been awaiting a knee replacement only sleeping up to an hour a night. I was refered to a consultant whom advised me due to my age to only have a partial knee replacement.
Right through from the consultation with him to going to the pre-assessment and my admission and stay on Woodlands ward I can not commend the staff for the high standard care I receieved. It was outstanding.
Pre-admissions had me booked in and I was treated with great respect and dignity. When I was admitted to Woodlands ward the staff went above their call of duty to make my stay comfortable and the care was first class.
I wouldnt have chose a better hospital. Only comment is the staff are overworked and under paid for what they do highly recommend pre admissions and Woodlands ward.
"The care was outstanding"
