"Brilliant Emergency Department Experience"

Came in with a suspected fractured ankle. Was triaged and x-rayed within an hour. The staff were all lovely and really supportive. I think they do a fantastic job under such pressures and aren't given enough credit. Only downside would be the struggle to hop from the drop off point outside the main A&E to get inside. There were no wheelchairs available and no one came to help me. Paramedics just sat there watching me struggle. Nowhere to even hang on to if needed. I had to wait for my partner to park the car and come back for me. Parking charges are also ridiculous and the A&E waiting area could do with tarting up.
