My Grandfather, Walter Day was transferred to Ward 6 at Moseley Hall Hospital on Wednesday 29th July after 4 weeks in the QE. Unfortunately he was only there for 2 days and passed away peacefully on Friday 31st July. During his short period on Ward 6, the treatment that he received from every single member of staff was impeccable. I would like to especially point out that the Ward Manager was an absolute star. The Ward Manager treated us as a family brilliantly and made a very difficult time a lot easier. For 2 days when we were at my Grandfathers bedside we were supplied with cups of tea and told that we could visit at anytime during the day and nothing seemed too much trouble. We were well informed of every decision that was being made. Also, I would like to mention the nurse who was looking after my Grandfather and another member of staff too. They were all amazing. After my Grandfather had passed the support we had was second to none. I cannot fault anything about this hospital including the free parking, the very reasonable priced canteen and the lovely garden area. Please pass on our gratitude to the whole team on Ward 6. We cannot thank them enough. Many thanks Laura and Kelly Day Granddaughters to the late Walter Day xxx
