"Was told femural nerve actually having miscarriage"

About: West Suffolk Hospital

Got out of hours gp on a Sunday lots of groin leg pain stomach cramps ( 6 weeks pregnant ) gp told me was a femural nerve and got sent home . Walked back to car sartrd bleeding !! Went back to a and e said I could wait for 5 hours bleeding and in pain !! Went back round to go then told me it was common for bleeding in early pregnancy ( 2 previous healthy pregnancies ) I knew something was wrong another couple of hours wait no offer of some where quiet or even any sanitary products !! Finally get sent up to f14 staff were very good had bloods hormones were ok I requested a scan but got told it wasn't within their budget to scan on a Sunday ... Still didn't know if I had lost the baby told to come back 5 days later for more bloods .... The worst few days of my life mental torture waiting !! Ended up back in 4 days with more pain and clots took more bloods which came back low hormones still wouldn't scan me had to return the next day just to confirm what I already knew . After spending a fortune on fuel parking and husband taking time off when a this could have been sorted on the first day !!! Worst experience made to sit in a and e bleeding in pain losing my baby The staff were great ( apart from the gp ) but there was no dignity or sensitivity in my situation at the time !!! Thank god it was straigforward for me I would've have dreaded if had complications !! Bad enough losing a baby but to get refused a scan then made to wait for 5 days is disgusting Very disappointed in the system needs a good kick up the back side Will go elsewhere next time Must stress that the staff on f14 were very good though
