On my first visit, taking my wife to the X-ray dept.I read the reviews with particular note of the free parking arrangements.Hence I didn't fall into the trap that others had. However as the car park like the hospital is clearly underused, the revenue generated by parking fees (excluding fines) probably doesn't cover the cost of administering it. Total free parking until usage increases may increase attendance. Although I expect contractual agreements may prevent this. A road sign at the A27/brook lane junction might help as well. On the plus side ,a very easy, efficient and pleasant experience.I shall not be avoiding Fareham Community Hospital in future.
