"Urgent visit to ent.good at first then given..."

I was initially very impressed with the ent dept. however when it came to discharge I was told that an appointment had been made for me at withington Hospital after discharge, that I would receive a letter with details about this, reality was that nothing had been arranged with withington, no follow up at all. My throat became extremely painful. My GP had no information . I found it extremely difficult to trace someone to give me information, from a very good first impression I am now in great pain in my throat and left with no means of getting pain relief. Even trying to get hold of the consultant was difficult.
