Absolute joke, treated with no respect no communication between midwifes. I was admitted on Tuesday the 9th to be induced. I was then left till Wednesday evening the 10th without any communication. I then discharged myself due to the poor care I was receiving. I was rebooked to come back in on Friday to be induced. After waiting for them to call and not hearing from anyone, I phoned and asked to be transferred to St Richards hospital. I was told I could not be transferred as my baby was on a safe guard. This was resolved and stated there was a mess up with the paper work. I excepted the midwifes apologies as it was sorted out or so I'd thought. I then came in Saturday morning in labour without being induced as never got a call. Well I had my baby and wanted to go home as you could guess at this point I'd had enough of seeing the sight of the hospital and wanted to get home so I could enjoy my new bundle. I was then told I could not leave the hospital with my baby as he was on a safe guard and he wasn't allowed to leave till you got the go ahead. I tried to explain to you this was all a misunderstanding and that the midwife on Friday had already apologised for the mistake they had made (clearly they don't do their paper work) as it should have all been changed. So you can imagine the stress I was put through after just giving birth to be told I was not allowed to take my baby home. I was then kept in that hospital for 5+ hours being told I couldn't leave with my baby why the midwifes yet again had to correct there mistakes. No sympathy nothing I got when they realised they had messed up and were wrong. Absolutely appalled at the treatment I got being treated with utter disrespect
