My first visit to the eye clinic last week turned out to be a joke. After I have checked in, I was called in by the nurse. Despite me telling the nurse that I do not want to be called by my first name, they repetitively called me that. Also not sure if the nurse was actually paying attention to me. Kept asking me to re-read lines on the chart. I waited for 1-2 hours before called to see the doctor, which was fine as I have taken the whole day off. What was unbelievable was I overheard and saw the nurse pressuring the doctors to see patients quickly. Anyone in the waiting area can tell that they are working hard. I have never seen such practice in other hospitals or gp surgeries. Is this a usual practice in this hospital? I dont think this nurse if fit to practice. Anyhow, receptionist was brilliant. I dont usually write reviews but was persuaded by my friends after I told them what I have experienced.
"awful nurse"
