Arrived in A and E with my 74 year old father who had collapsed in the street the day before while on holiday and had suffered cuts and bruises to the face chest and legs. He also has a history of heart problems and a pace maker. After a 3 hour wait (that part I don't necessarily have an issue with) we were seen by a doctor who spoke so fast and had so little patience for a worried 74 year old man that I wondered if they may be a robot. The doctor told him to go to Barnet hospital with a letter and couldn't rub away fast enough. They were not interested in the fact my dad was worried about his injuries, that he was nervous about getting home, that he was in general a vulnerable older person. They were so uncaring and rude I don't know why they wanted to be a doctor in the first place. On top of that the A&E department was filthy.
"Dirty hospital and rude staff"
