On 06/05/15 I was admitted to Opthalmic Surgery Dept. for an eye operation (Deep Sclerectomy) . Immediately upon arrival I was made welcome by the receptionist and a nurse who took all my details. I was treated with the utmost respect and care by the anaesthetist, and surgeon but I must give a special mention to the nurse who cared for me after the operation. They even helped to push my bed through the endless corridors to Ward 15a – 5 star treatment throughout! In Ward 15a I could not have been treated any better if I had been a female member of the Royal Family giving birth (Can you guess who I mean?). My only regret is that I am hopeless at remembering names so cannot thank you individually But every member of staff that I came across during my short stay was a credit to their profession. Thank you all so much!
