"Helpful knowledgable staff"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Helpful knowledgable staff

What could be improved

The not helpful, not very knowledgable and occasionally rude staff

Anything else?

I have been attending this hospital at about 6 week intervals since May 2009. For the most part the staff are excellent; however, there are significant numbers who are not. There is an air of disorganisation plus a general attitude that the patient is in the wrong and should be grateful for any attention. Tests are not booked properly and it seems to be accepted that concurrent activity is impossible. It has been around 6 months since my GP referral, I am likely to wait another 3-4 months for treatment and the general attitude appears to be that I am not sick enough to require more expeditious attention.
