My husband is diabetic and he fell in the house when he had a hypo. I called 999 as I didn’t know what else to do. 3 medics came and gave excellent care, they gave him a thorough check and made sure he was completely OK before they left. They also made sure I was OK.
Unfortunately my husband had a further hypo in the early hours of the following day, he fell in the bathroom and I had to call the ambulance. The gentlemen were lovely, reassuring me again and again that I was quite right to call them and not to worry. They stayed with us until my husband had fully recovered – they were so kind, caring and attentive. I hope we never lose this service.
