Hi,
Iv'e just been told I am showing signs of Rapid Cycling Bipolar, the psychiatrist prescribed 300mg of Quitiepine/Seroquel and it is not the medication for me, so I asked to change and they refuse to try me on anything else so I have no medication for my mood swings at all. They are also weaning me off Venlafaxine 225mg an antidepressant so once that's out my system my depression will flare up but they have no concern.
Iv'e been calling all week just to get terrible responses, last night I was at A&E I called their pager number and when they called back I told the crisis team I'd been violent and was manic, the lady responded saying 'you're violence isn't related to your moods. ' That was the end of that conversation.
A&E had no psychiatric laision and said I can either sit in a chair for 11hours or go home so I left. My step dad then called the crisis team as I was still manic and aggressive/violent, the crisis team refused to come out to me, refused to give me any care whatsoever and just said they'd see me the next day.
I am fed up of the neglect. This is ridiculous and last night I almost commited suicide as the lack of care has sent me into a deep depression. I don't want to see the Kent Crisis Team now as I want to hurt them. I'm left with no care and no medication for my disorder.
"I feel alone"
