I recently attended the Eye Clinic for cataract removal. Although this is a very busy department all members of staff were friendly and professional; they explained everything clearly and answered questions patiently. Seven of us arrived at the same time for the procedure and were treated in turn...a bit unfortunate for the last one to have surgery (me!) as the wait became somewhat tedious: a small price to pay for such a favourable outcome. The surgeon was reassuring and the theatre staff were caring. Tea/coffee (served in a 'proper' cup with a saucer) and biscuits were offered after surgery and were most welcome. My thanks are extended to all involved in my visit.
