My daughter visits GOSH every 6 months to be tested for a heart condition, every single visit we are treated by the best of the best. The receptionists that book you in,the fabulous nurses that take blood tests, even the staff in the cafe are lovely (avoid the chicken kiev!) At one of her appointments they discovered Emily needed open heart surgery, it was such a scarey time, but i was made to feel very reassured by the consultant (he is awesome) Emily requested that the giant Professor came to speak to us, and sure enough the gentle giant made time(he's a very busy man.x.) When Emily had her op, she couldnt be in safer hands, everyone did everything possible to make us all feel safe, comfortable and reassured. The staff on flamingo ward were just amazing, Emily couldn't of been cared for by nicer people, they work miracles on a daily basis, see the saddest sights and still manage to give the best care i could wish for at such a hard time. We were then moved to bear ward where again we couldnt of asked for more, our nirse was by far the most fabulous nurse, she went beyond her duties to make sure Emily was happy and eating properly. She is an inspiration to any little girl.x. We had a visit from another nurse, from walrus ward, whch was so sweet, it showed she really cared. GOSH sorted out accomodation for myself, Emily's father and brother, it wasn't 5 star accomodation, but it was free, so how can you complain at that! We were just so grateful that we were able to be close to Emily when she needed us the most.x. Thank you to every single member of staff who work there! Even the charity staff are awesome, when we handed over the money Emily raised last year they made Emily feel special, they were so grateful.x.
"The best of the best!"
