I attended warfarin clinic today & had to wait for my lift home, I was very aware of the congestion around the main entrance and think this could be a fire risk. There were 2 vans from inter serve delivering trolleys and large boxes , these were put in the air lock of the front entrance and also inside by the front entrance so causing congestion. The vans were parked outside for a considerable time if an emergency vehicle. Eg fire engine needed to get to building it would have been impossible , I have noticed this problem every time I attend at the Corbett. Do you only have one door is there not a goods entrance? There is also the problem of bad parking ( due to not enough parking facilities) and I'm sure in an emergency fire engines would not even be able to access the site . While I am complaining about this safety issue I would also like to mention the lack of toilet facilities I think one male and one female patient toilet for all of the hundreds of people that must use your hospital is completely inadequate .
