In July I fractured my fibula and tore my deltoid ankle ligament and was told that a return to sport would be very unlikely before April 2015. Once my cast was removed as I referred to physiotherapy at Glenfield Hospital and I can't praise the service enough. I was put onto various exercises to strengthen my ankle and gain it's level of movement back and after each visit was given more progressively difficult exercises until my eventual discharge in early December as I had my full range of motion back. I played my first game of football yesterday, 4 months ahead of the original diagnosis and I can't thank the physiotherapy I received at Glenfield enough for this. I felt involved every step of the way with making sure I didn't try to do anything I shouldn't too quickly and I feel the physiotherapists programme of exercises was perfect for me and the attention they paid to my injury meant I always felt comfortable with whatever exercises they gave me. I can't fault the service at all!
"Great Service"
