"Outpatient waiting times"

About: Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

(as the patient),

I had an outpatient appointment brought forward by 7 weeks with just 1 week notice. I arrived for the appointment on time and the notice board indicated the clinic was running late by 20 minutes. This was infact untrue as I was seen 55minutes after the time I was meant to see the consultant.

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion on the care you recieved at the Nufield Orthopaedic Centre.

Patients often cancel their appointments freeing up capacity, the hospitals try to book patients into those slots often at short notice to keep waiting lists shorter. This should be optional for patients to bring their appointments forward and im sorry if this wasn’t made clear.

Kind regards
