"She made it clear that help was available if I need it "

About: Ayrshire & Arran Community Services / Elderly Community Mental Health Service

(as the patient),

We have had support from the psychiatric nurse for my husband’s dementia which has been very helpful. The nurse is called Mary Woods. We were referred to her by Dr Barber. It was very useful to have things explained to me. She made it clear that help was available if I need it and I’m grateful for that. She said of course she would see us again as and when necessary.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Keep 234

Thank you for taking the time to feedback, it's very helpful for us to hear what people experience when in contact with our services - it's important to us and we value it greatly.

I see that Eunice is already going to ensure the team get to hear your feedback, or I would have done it - I may still do it as I'm sure they'll appreciate hearing your thoughts a second time:-)

Best wishes.

Derek
