My case is not unusual, I myself make up the majority of substance abuse cases. Generally my only qualm with Guernsey house is that I don't feel that doctors don’t take you seriously enough and don’t really respect your individual needs and specific problems in respect to others.
I am an individual and my problems are not only psychological but also somatic and I would like my doctor to really look into my own needs as a patient and diagnose me accordingly. But it doesn’t seem to happen; I feel like I just get tossed around between doctors and never seem to get any answers or conclusions. They just say, “We’ll see you in 6 weeks”. That’s not good enough, I need help but I also understand there is no budget for acute psychological illnesses in respect to depressive states and an addictive personality which is mirroring my drug abuse.
"I want to be diagnosed as an individual"
